ALIGNED FOUNDATIONS
Know who you are
Build a career on it.
A four-week program for people starting out — designed around one question that
most career advice skips entirely: what are you actually built for?

THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE
Most people think their
career starts with the résumé
It starts with the résumé. With LinkedIn. With “what kind of job do you want?” — as if you should
already know the answer. For most people stepping into their first real chapter of working life, that
question isn’t answerable yet, because it depends on a more important one: who are you, and what
kind of work are you built for?
That’s the question Aligned Foundations exists to answer.
We don’t begin with a résumé. We begin with a validated assessment, a custom-written interpretation
of your results, and the slow, careful work of translating that self-knowledge into direction. By the
time we get to the résumé and the LinkedIn — and we do get there — they’re not generic documents
trying to make you look good. They’re targeted artifacts that argue specifically for who you are.
That’s the difference. Self-knowledge first. Strategy second. Tactics third.
Reverse the order and you’ll spend years writing résumés that argue for
someone who isn’t quite you
THE CENTERPIECE
The document you’ll
come back to for years.
At the heart of Aligned Foundations is a single artifact: your Career Discovery Report.
The Career Discovery Report is built on the foundation of your MAPP results — a validated
motivational profile with decades of use in executive and Fortune 500 hiring. MAPP gives us the
data: a rigorous, scientifically grounded read of how you’re naturally wired. The Career Discovery
Report is the next step — a personalized interpretation prepared specifically for you, written in plain,
grounded language that translates the assessment into something you can actually use in your
career
MAPP tells us what’s true about you.
The Report tells you what to do about it.
- Who you are.
A clear-eyed read of your strengths, your working style, and the kind of person an organization gets when they hire
you.
- What drives you.
The motivations that energize your best work — and the ones that drain it
- What you’re built for.
Your natural strengths translated into the environments where you’ll thrive
- Career directions that fit.
Specific role categories aligned to your profile, each one referenced against the U.S. Department of Labor’s
occupational database — not generic suggestions, real starting points for exploration
- Your path forward.
The filter you’ll use to evaluate every opportunity from now on
- Reflection prompts grounded in your MAPP profile.
Each section ends with questions designed to be answered honestly — your responses become the agenda for our
coaching sessions
“You cannot articulate your value to others until you fully understand it yourself.”
HOW IT WORKS
Four weeks. One foundation.
Everything that comes after.
The program is structured to move you from “I don’t know what I’m built for” to “I know exactly what. I’m searching for and how to communicate it.” Here’s how that happens.
Week 1: Assessment & Discovery
You sign up. You receive a link to the MAPP — a validated motivational assessment with a long track record in executive and Fortune 500 hiring. You complete it on your own time. While you do, I begin work on your Career Discovery Report — your personalized interpretation, written specifically for you
Week 2: Orientation
We meet for a focused session — thirty to forty-five minutes — to walk through your MAPP results and your Career Discovery Report together. I show you how to read them. What to take seriously. What to push back on. What questions to bring to our next conversation. You leave with documents you understand
Week 3: Reflection
You sit with the report. Complete the guided reflection exercises. Notice what resonates and what surprises you. Identify what’s been true your whole life and what you’ve been avoiding. This isn’t homework. This is the work itself
Week 4: Deep Dive & Direction
An in-depth strategy session — expect at least sixty to ninety minutes. We work through everything you’ve reflected on — your strongest motivations, the environments where you do your best work, the career directions that fit you, the one thing you’ve been avoiding saying out loud. If we need more time, we schedule a second session. By the end, you have language for who you are and a clear sense of what to do next.
THEN: Positioning Build-Out
With self-knowledge translated into direction, I build the artifacts: a positioning-driven résumé and a complete LinkedIn profile, written to argue specifically for who you are. Not generic documents. Targeted ones.
THROUGHOUT: Access
I’m available for questions, side conversations, and second thoughts at any point during the program. Email, text, scheduled calls when you need them.
Four weeks isn’t long. But it’s enough time to stop searching for the
wrong job — and start searching for the right one.
DELIVERABLES
Five things — and one
of them isn’t paper.
- Your MAPP Assessment.
The validated profile that became the input for everything else.
- Your Career Discovery Report.
The twelve-plus-page custom interpretation you’ll return to for years
- A positioning-driven résumé.
Written from your strengths, not a template
- A complete LinkedIn profile.
Aligned with the same positioning, ready to attract the right attention.
- Language for who you are. The thing that doesn’t fit on paper — the way you’ll talk about yourself in interviews, networking
conversations, and every job application that comes after.
The first four are documents. The fifth is the reason the first four matter.
THE RIGHT FIT
Aligned Foundations is
for you if-
- You’re early in your career — recent grad, career-starter, or someone stepping into the working world for the first time.
- You’re not sure what kind of role fits you, and you suspect that’s the real problem — not your résumé, not your interview skills, not the job market.
- You’ve taken career assessments before and felt like they described someone else, or gave you results that sounded right but weren’t useful.
- You want to understand yourself before you start applying — not iterate your way to clarity by sending out résumés and seeing what sticks.
- You’re ready to do real reflection — not just receive a service.
If three of those five sound like you, this program was built for you. If all
five do — you’re already doing the work. Let’s make it count.

WHY I DO THIS WORK
Why this program exists.
I’ve spent twenty years in executive seats — building organizations, hiring people,
deciding who got the role and who didn’t. What I learned is that the people who move
forward most powerfully aren’t the ones who acquire new skills. They’re the ones who
finally understand what they were already wired for — and learn to lead with it.
That’s especially true for people early in their working life. You haven’t yet had ten
years to misread yourself. You haven’t yet built a career on a foundation that wasn’t
yours. The work we do together in Aligned Foundations isn’t recovery — it’s
prevention. The version of you who finishes this program walks into every interview,
every job, every conversation with their career in front of them — clear-eyed about
who they are and what they bring
That’s the work. And it’s why I built this program — for the
version of you who hasn’t started writing the wrong career yet.
